The thing about Queer Eye thatâs really so big to me itâs that recognizes that change canât come from the outside. It recognizes that people who âlet themselves goâ have deeper emotional reasons to do so other than âeh I donât feel like dressing up nice todayâ. It takes the time to groom and dress people, but it also fixes their living space and gives them a little push to eat better and directs one 5th of the core group to the participantâs inner live. It doesnât teach them to âââlook betterâââ it encourages them to live better and really itâs so wholesome and removed from so many other cold or superficial shows that relish on tearing people down over their life choices and I just love it
