American Idiot was released on September 20th, 2004 and produced by Rob Cavallo. The album spawned five hit singles: American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Holiday, Wake Me Up When September Ends, and Jesus of Suburbia. It went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2005
