I love this moment, I genuinely do. Terry wants to be supportive and understanding. He doesn’t quite have a firm grasp on how to do that, but he’s trying. He’s actually, properly trying. That’s what that “Yeah" is about. It’s him saying, “Of course I did, you’re my friend, I love you, and I want to support you.”
I adore the positivity behind this show. It’s not afraid to show people – coworkers, friends – loving each other, being supportive of each other, not always nailing it but never not trying. This show is a life raft to cling to right now.
