what she means: adhd is incredibly underdiagnosed in women due to the heavily dangerous stereotype that adhd is a disorder that is present in only young males and this is a stereotype that is harmful to absolutely everyone with adhd, including young males that have been diagnosed because it makes the entire disorder seem fake as if it was created to allow lazy little boys to get out of trouble. it also causes the underdiagnosis in women with adhd, which leads to undiagnosed women feeling inadequate and as if they are broken and alone when in reality it really is out of their control. in this essay i will-
