re: that country music post – the dixie chicks backlash was ridiculous to the point they only started playing them on the three (3) country radio stations here again around 2010 ish and that’s still maybe once every couple months or so

anyway the dixie chicks are cool even if you don’t like like their music. last time I saw them in concert (August 2016) they dedicated their last song to their lgbt fans, had planned parenthood set up next to their merch sales, and told the westboro baptists protesting outside to go fuck themselves lmao I love them so much
