Hey everyone, my mother has been sick for a long time and on the 5th of june, she had a stroke. We rushed her to the hospital but she suffered two additional strokes over the weekend and sadly… passed away.
My parents are divorced and I am a single child so this has a very trying time for me. I’ve been driving my mother to and from appointments on my own for years, sharing the same home as her for years and now… it’s just hard to process that she’s really gone.
I’ve since learnt that I have to foot the bill for the retirement check she got this month and her cremation as she has no life insurance. In addition, there’s a multitude of bills that I will have to pay. The fact that I’m currently unemployed doesn’t help this situation.
I have received some help from friends so far, but it’s not enough to pay for all of her bills. Your donation would really go a long way in helping me care for my mother one last time.
