the thing is, in real life people typically don’t imply you’re gay when you’re not? unless it’s for mocking and defamation. but people who love you usually don’t imply you’re gay when you’re not. It’s likely more often the other way around!

for example my mother knows I’m a lesbian, and she still constantly implies I might end up with a man some day. her telling me a passing boy is cute and waiting for a reaction is more likely than her thinking I’m dating my best friend, even knowing my identity.

so y’all really gonna be out here saying that Mrs Hudson, Angelo, Mycroft and god knows who else are wildly incorrect when they believe Sherlock is gay and imply something is between him and John? the people who know him best, what might they deduce about his heart? like I’m sorry, I don’t know what world they’re livin in but last time my gay ass checked the world as a whole is pretty heteronormative, and straight people typically uphold the standard of straight until proven gay.

so the chances of the people who know sherlock best implying he’s gay and being completely wrong cause he’s actually The Most Heterosexual seems…como se dice….not fuckin likely
